Why this site exists
Character Color Race is a fast-growing Roblox guessing game — its lifetime visits grew from roughly 1.2 million in mid-August 2026 to about 23.5 million at our 2026-10-03 check — but almost none of the infrastructure players expect exists yet: there is no community wiki, no official Trello, and exactly one code site covering it. This site fills that gap with a small set of pages that answer the questions players actually search for: what the code RELEASE gives, how the color-guessing loop works, how to pick closer colors, and which links are safe to click.
The centerpiece is the Color Lab calculator, which compares two colors with the CIEDE2000 color-difference standard so you can practice the game's core skill — landing on a character's main color — before you queue into an 8-player race.
Author and editor profile
The site is maintained by an independent Roblox guide editor who tracks Character Color Race through the official Roblox page, the Roblox Games API, the Rolimons stats tracker, and the editorial code trackers that cover the game. The game's own update cadence drives the check schedule — the codes and updates pages are re-verified whenever the experience ships new content, and every data page carries the date it was last checked so you can judge freshness yourself instead of trusting us.
What that means in practice: the codes page lists the creator-published code with exactly the status it was verified under; the guides teach the round loop, a hue-lightness-saturation picking order, and lava-pressure decisions; and the wiki describes prompts, tower layers, gems, and cosmetics with the source behind each claim.
Editorial policy
Game facts, codes, and mechanics must come from a checkable source: the official Roblox page, the Roblox Games API, or an established public tracker. Unknown and conflicting results are preserved honestly — an unpublished number is recorded as unpublished, not guessed. When sources disagree, the page shows both claims instead of averaging them. A rumored code string that no tracker actually lists stays off the site, and a search-engine snippet that mangles a table gets resolved against the page's raw HTML before it is repeated. Because the characters are famous-person prompts rather than original units, this site also refuses to publish an invented answer key: canonical colors can only be listed if a real, checkable source provides them.
How pages are updated
Codes are rechecked after every game update — the experience's metadata was last touched on September 12, 2026, and its description has carried the same code line since the first check on August 18, 2026. The updates page keeps a dated timeline of every recorded change with its source, so an older observation is never presented as current. Link safety is re-reviewed on the Trello, Discord & wiki status page, and the sources page lists every reference the site uses, including the source types that do not exist for this game yet.
Corrections
If a page has an outdated code, a missing creator link, or guidance that no longer matches the game, use the contact page with the page URL, the claim, and a reference that supports the correction. Corrections that check out are applied with a new checked date rather than silently rewriting the old one. The disclosure page records the site's unofficial, fan-made status and its advertising boundaries.
What this site will not publish
Three refusals define the site as much as its content does. It will not publish an invented character-answer key: the roster and canonical colors can only be listed when a checkable source provides them, and the character answers page records exactly what evidence would unlock one. It will not link unofficial destinations as official — every link claim on the community-links page carries its own verification status. And it will not name a reward the creator never named: the RELEASE code is listed with “unnamed reward” rather than a guess, because a wrong reward label spreads faster than a correction.
Site history
The site launched alongside the game's own growth curve: the game was first checked on August 18, 2026 at roughly 1.2 million lifetime visits, and by the 2026-10-03 check it had passed 23 million. Each maintenance pass since then has refreshed checked dates, reconciled the code list against new trackers, and extended coverage — most recently the update timeline, which reconstructs the game's history from Roblox metadata because no official changelog exists. The privacy and terms pages describe how the site itself works.
Independence
This is an unofficial fan site. It is not affiliated with the Character Color Race creator group, and Roblox remains the official place for support, purchases, moderation, and account issues. Advertising on the site is limited to the formats disclosed on the disclosure page, and no advertising relationship changes what the data pages say.
